Program
The program includes:
- Transportation from and back to your hotel. After introduction at the stables we will have a coffee.
- After our coffee we give a basic training of riding and after this we take the horses and make our self ready for the horses and wagon ride in to the mountains. after riding 1 hour and 20 minutes we arrive on the top of the finikia mountains and stop there for a pause. There we have a soft drink, some raki, fruit, and here you can take photo's of the view, and of the sleeping mountain of the greek god Zeus. ( he was born in a cave on the lassithi plateu but he is sleeping opposite the finikia mountains. Archanes.)
- After this pause, we take the horses and wagon again, and go back to the stables riding for another 1 hour and 15 minutes, after this, we get a rich cretan traditional lunch with home made wine. when we finish the lunch, we sit out in the garden of the stables, and have some more wine, while the kids or you can have a few more minutes of riding. At about two o clock we take our way back to the hotels or appartments.
Both of the tours are for beginners, medium and advanced riders.
In the package is included:
- Transfer hotel/appartments and back again.
- Coffee
- Two and half hours of horse and wagon riding.
- Lunch with home made wine and fruit.
- Riding helmets.
- Insurance
- Surprise.
We offer also the night excursion wich is include a barbeque. The time we start will be around 17.30 and we will be back again at the hotel or appartments around 23.00.

Special program for cruise boat passengers.
We pick you up at the time that tell us outside of the passport control at the port, we drive you to the stables (10 minutes driving), then we do the above programm and after riding we drive you back to the boat or the city of Heraklion. ( ten minutes walk from city to harbour.)
This programm can be shorter or longer with lunch or without lunch which depends when your cruise ship will leave the harbour of Heraklion.
